In “Global Care Crisis: A Problem of Capital, Care Chains, or Commons?” Arlie Hochschild, Lise Widding Isaksen, and Sambasivan Uma Devi argue that we must focus on the concept of “the commons” to understand South-North migration. Explain the meaning of this concept as it relates to the concerns addressed by these authors.
